Deana is a psychological thriller author living in Texas. She holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Texas A&M University and spent most of her career working in the health and wellness industry before pursing her love of storytelling. She is the winner of the 2023 Writers’ League of Texas Manuscript Contest for the thriller category, and her short fiction has appeared in A Quaint and Curious Volume of Gothic Tales by Brigids Gate Press as well as online magazines. When she isn’t writing or teaching group fitness classes, Deana enjoys reading, baking, and being active outdoors with her family.
